i absolutely LOVE my brown "pretzel" necklace.

anytime i wear it, i always get a compliments on it.

it's pretty much amazing.

(i couldn't find a real picture of it,

but this will do.)

any kind of fun chunky necklace will do.

anthropologie has a million and j. crew has some cute ones too.

but if you don't want to spend that money

i'm sure forever 21 has some good ones.

but my advice, it's an investment.

it'll be worth it.

well, while home for christmas,

(really annoyed it wouldn't turn. even after fiddling with in iphoto.)

i bought this skirt in 2009,

but never wore it. too big and too long.

well, i decided to have it tailored,

aka shortened and taken in

and now it fits like a dream.

i love it.

great color. light weight.

can be worn in summer or winter.

completely versatile

what else could you ask for?

tip:

try and find something in your closet

that just needs to be tailored.

who knows, maybe your something old

will become new again.

plus it's a great way to save on $.

especially if you're on a budget.
